    Artists as diverse as Alex Chilton, Giant Sand and The Wedding Present cover the master.
    The Tim Buckley cover of “Martha” is gorgeous.

  5. Ramones – Live New Years Eve NYC 1979

    I remember listening to this when it was originally broadcast on WNEW! I’ve had many versions of it over the years- cassette, CD and MP3- great in any format.

  6. Dog Blood – David Moody (St Martins Press)

    The sequel to Hater . Post apocalyptic novel pretty much from the perspective of the infected.

  7. Hard Knocks – The New York Jets – (HBO)

    Highly entertaining look at the NY Jets pre-season training camp.
