25 May 2008

My Favorite Albums of 2008, so far

We’re not quite halfway through the year, but there’s already been a ton of great music released. Here are my 10 favorites right this moment, though I’m always changing my mind, and always hearing more. Besides these, see also Auburn Lull, Hammock, Guilty Simpson, Rameses III, White Hinterland, Nada Surf, Matmos, Festival, The Roots, Mike Downey, Lyrics Born, Evangelicals, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, The Mountain Goats, The Real Tuesday Weld, The Magnetic Fields, Sun Kil Moon, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Spiritualized, Soltero, Death Cab for Cutie, and Kath Bloom. Any of those could move up to the top 10 as I listen more.
