Say what you want about posthumous collections of previously unreleased material, but THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. is certainly living it up as we approach the nine-year anniversary of his death.
As licensing is the surest way of a musician getting paid nowadays, Biggie's latest entry, courtesy of SEAN COMBS a.k.a. DIDDY, is an in-game music track for Marc Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, to be released next Friday. SERJ TANKIAN of SYSTEM OF A DOWN has taken "Who Shot Ya," itself a posthumous Biggie release on 1999's Born Again, and given it an aggressive makeover, matching the gangsta stance of the lyrics more than Diddy's original production. (The track will also be available on a separate soundtrack CD included with the Limited Edition of the game).

I like this remix, though it’s not one of my favorite Biggie tunes. With that said, “Who Shot Ya” is also on the newly remastered version of Ready to Die, one of my favorite hip-hop albums of all-time.

Not really my cup of tea, but I just want to thank you for not having it start playing the second the page loads.
